To wrap up Fit Feb, we’re celebrating the efforts of ‘These Girls Just Want to Have Guns’ team members, Jodi and Chelsea. Along with their team, they took on the challenge of tackling the length of the Great Ocean Road throughout February. While the team faced a few hurdles along the way, they finished strong completing an impressive 92% of their goal.

Now that the challenge is done and dusted, both Jodi and Chelsea are reflecting on what they’ve achieved—and what’s next.

Jodi’s journey: building confidence, one step at a time

For Jodi, Fit Feb was exactly the motivation she needed to get back on track with her fitness. Taking on the challenge alongside Chelsea and their teammates gave her the motivation to make a change—and she’s grateful for the experience.

“I’m not a morning person, so getting up at 5 am each morning has been a real challenge,” Jodi admits. “But I’ve found it’s better to get it done first thing rather than leaving it until the end of the working day.”

Jodi also branched out and tried something completely new: yoga. “I’ve started doing yoga, which I haven’t done before,” she says. It’s become part of her routine and is helping her listen to her body more carefully. She’s also learned the importance of setting achievable goals and pacing herself, especially after experiencing some discomfort in her legs and knees during the walking challenge.

When asked how she feels now that Fit Feb is over, Jodi’s answer is simple: “This was just what I needed to get me started back on track to be more active in life. And I’m grateful for my team that kept me motivated along the way.”

Chelsea’s story: staying consistent and motivated

Throughout Fit Feb, Chelsea introduced more cardio into her routine and noticed her fitness improving along the way. “I definitely feel I’ve improved,” she said. “The early mornings were hard, but I feel so much better when I just get up and go.”

What stood out most for Chelsea was the sense of accountability and teamwork. “Knowing that if I didn’t get my exercise done it would affect my team’s progress was so motivating,” she shares. “The challenge really pushed me to increase my training days, and I’m incredibly proud of our team’s efforts.”

The best part? Chelsea is committed to keeping the momentum going. “Absolutely—I’m not stopping now,” she says. The challenge has kick-started a routine she plans to continue well beyond February.

Chelsea says she’s incredibly proud of what her and her teammates achieved together

What’s next for the team?

For Jodi and Chelsea, Fit Feb wasn’t just about completing a challenge—it was about building habits, finding motivation, and supporting each other. Their team spirit and determination made all the difference, and they’re both excited to keep moving forward.

Feeling inspired? Why not set yourself a challenge and see what you can achieve?
