Although diminishing, the effects of COVID-19 on the health system are still evident and this continues to result in lower-than-expected claims. Recognising the wonderful support from our Members and the impact of lower claims, Queensland Country Health Fund is delighted to announce it will return $3 million in profits to eligible Members in June 2023.
As they say every little bit counts, and this giveback demonstrates the organisation's commitment to providing exceptional value and support to our Members during challenging times.
Queensland Country Health Fund, a Member-focused organisation, reaffirms its commitment to its Members by announcing an impressive series of givebacks over the past 18 months. In addition to delaying our 2020 premium increase and other relief initiatives provided in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Queensland Country Health Fund has given back a total of $8.5 million in profits to its valued Members.
"Our Members are at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to give back to them in a meaningful way," said Glenn Seri, Executive Manager Health Fund at Queensland Country Health Fund. "The $3 million giveback is a testament to our dedication to providing exceptional value and support to our Members, and we are delighted to reward their continued trust and loyalty."
Members who held an active Hospital and/or Extras policy between 1 July 2022 and 31 May 2023 are eligible to receive a return, providing they are financial at the time we process the payment. Learn more
