Queensland Country Health Fund was born as the Mount Isa Mines Employees Health Society in 1977 and the Fund has grown to now cover a significant number of communities and almost 60,000 Members in the top end of the country. We understand that living in the north of Australia is quite different to living closer to larger metropolitan areas. That’s why we operate differently to the big profit-driven funds, and have developed Territory Health Fund, to be able to focus on the needs of the people of the Territory.
