Please note: Your private health insurance policy premium is required to be paid in advance. This way you can be sure you always have access to the services and benefit entitlements of your policy.

^Your premium is subject to the information you entered being correct and may change once eligibility has been confirmed. If transferring from another health fund your LHC percentage may change once the Transfer Certificate is received

Waiting periods

Waiting periods may apply (including those for pre-existing conditions) if you have not previously had health insurance cover or if you are upgrading your level of cover.

Where you have transferred from another health fund you will not have to re-serve applicable waiting periods as long as:

  • you join Queensland Country within 63 days of the date on which you ceased to be covered by another Australin registered health fund
  • you have served the applicable waiting periods with that former health fund; and
  • we have received your Transfer Certificate from that health fund showing your previous level of cover.

Cooling Off Period

If for any reason you change your mind within the first 30 days of commencement of your new policy and have not yet made a claim, we will cancel your policy and refund any premiums you have paid in relation to this cover.
